Introduction to Hospitality
This course defines the sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry, and the elements that interrelate to provide services and products to the hospitality and tourism consumers. This course will introduce the students to the nature and scope of the hospitality and tourism industry, its key associations, service providers, the “host” and “guest” relationship and operational areas of the industry. This course will also introduce career choices in the hospitality and tourism industry and prepare students for further study in their chosen fields.
