Course Description:
Hygiene and Safety will give students an introduction to important principles, data, and techniques used in the daily operations of Food & Beverage Service Companies to manage food processing and food safety along with injury and damage prevention. Throughout this course students will learn about and put into practice methods for setting up food safety programs, identifying and fixing problems in food safety systems, chemical identification and usage, HACCP, WHMIS, and PPE.
