Course Description:
This subject is designed to equip students with sound foundational knowledge and skills required in identifying the wine and spirit of the world. Locative memory and tasting of both the varietal characters and aesthetic characteristics will be conducted. Students will learn how flavor preferences can bias perception of wine’s acidity, tannins, alcohol and flavors. Besides, students will also learn basic wine and spirit service and food pairing concepts and how to modify them for Asian cuisine.
