Course Description:
Intro to Western Culinary Arts will give students a wide variety of information, activities, and exercises aimed at developing their knowledge of ingredients, techniques, equipment, and core concepts related to classical and modern day Western Culinary Arts. During the course students will learn about knife skills, the basic principles of western cooking, classic / common dishes, terminology, equipment & tool identification and usage, along with ingredient identity and descriptions.
