San Sin High School of Commerce and Economics

This event was focused on celebrating international food week and bringing some international flair to the students.

ICA Chef Douglas was invited by the director of the beverage and culinary department to participate by demonstrating a few basic baking principles and in particular products that are considered common to eat in Canada.

He participated in two separate days demonstrating a total of four recipes (two on one day and two on the second day). One class was for the current students who go to the San Sin high school and the other day was intended for students and their family members who were from outlying high schools. To promote and showcase the school’s facilities and products.

It was a huge success to promote NKUHT as a future stepping stone for some of these high school students.
